Bulk Lube Tank Monitoring System

Summary Page
e-Monitoring Networks provides a complete end-to-end inventory monitoring solution that includes tank probes, wireless communication links, data storage and access to web application software to sort, format, display and download product inventory, daily usage and product delivery data.

This new service provides real-time tank inventory readings, delivery reports, daily usage calculations and low-product alerts using wireless data links and web-based application software. On the summary page is a pictorial display of the current inventory levels, the most recent delivery, low-product alert status and "days-to-run-out" estimates for every tank.

To obtain inventory readings, a small, pressure-sensing probe is installed in each tank to measure product level. Each probe is connected to a Control Unit that is mounted on the wall of the facility and plugged into a standard AC power outlet. No other connections are necessary.

Probes and Control Unit
The probe system Control Unit converts the tank probe output signal to a digital message and then transmits that message to e-Monitoring's gateway center over a commercial wireless network. At the gateway center, e-Monitoring software converts the "raw" data from the sensors into quarts/gallons, compares the readings to the pre-set low-level alerts and loads the data into a secure database.

The probe measurement system is accurate to within 0.1 inches under normal conditions. This accuracy allows measured inventory changes to be compared with delivery invoices and sales tickets. Comparing inventory usage with sales tickets will assist store managers in the detection of product loss and also mistakes in the product type used in oil changes.

Access to the inventory information is available on a secure web site that is dedicated to your use. You decide who has access and at what level.
