Video Surveillance Many retail and commercial fueling facilities also use on-site surveillance cameras and VCRs to provide checks on the identity of personnel using fuel transaction cards as well as general site surveillance. VCR-based video systems provide some benefits but real-time video is not available to central security personnel and videotapes are difficult to search and store. These systems can be expensive to maintain and in many cases are prone to failure.
On-line monitoring can help eliminate these problems by transferring digital images and transaction data to a central database and then providing on-line access to live and recorded images via your private web site. Card transaction usage can be tied to the corresponding video images allow review of transactions within moments after they occur. |
